On December 3, Liu Hanbo, Chairman and Party Secretary of COSCO SHIPPING Energy, met with Hong Sheng, the global senior managing partner of McKinsey Management Consulting, and Steve Saxon, the global managing partner, in Shanghai.

During the meeting, Liu Hanbo welcomed McKinsey’s visit and introduced the company’s 14th Five-Year Plan that combines “internal analyses and external resources, comprehensive research and theme focus, C-level discussions and team competitions”. Liu introduced the structure, goals, and general scheme of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, considering both the home and abroad market of oil and LNG transportation during that period. Hong Sheng introduced the basics of China COSCO Shipping Group's “14th Five-Year Plan” and expressed gratitude to the company for its support in the preparation of the Group's development plan.

The two parties discussed the development trends of the energy transportation industry, sustainable development, the exquisite operation that requires “transition from mentalities of dispatchers to traders”, and the cultivation of international talents.
