On January 21, Liu Hanbo, Chairman and Party Secretary of COSCO SHIPPING Energy, met with China Merchants Energy Shipping Chairman Xie Chunlin and his party in Shanghai.

During the meeting, Liu Hanbo introduced CSET’s expanding shipping capacity and overall operations. Xie Chunlin introduced the overall layout and business strategy of China Merchants Energy Shipping. The two parties reviewed the trend of the energy transportation market in 2020, conducted in-depth exchanges on the recent economic environment and the changes of the oil shipping market, and agreed to strengthen cooperation and information sharing to tackle market challenges.

Xu Hui, Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Energy Shipping, Luo Yuming, Deputy General Manager of CSET, related personnel from Associated Maritime Company (Hong Kong) Limited, Nanjing Tanker Corporation, and CSET VLCC Department and Tanker Department attended the meeting.
