In order to thoroughly implement the deployment of the Group's series of seminars on learning and implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress, and promote remobilization, redeployment and re-implementation, COSCO SHIPPING Energy held multiple seminars respectively on implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and accelerating the building of a world-leading enterprise, improving the layout of global business and POOL operation, and promoting digital supply chain services and green low-carbon development from December 28 to 29.

McKinsey and CICC were invited to give special interpretation on accelerating the building of a world-leading enterprise. External experts were invited to conduct special counseling on the construction practice of digital intelligence in China Baowu. COSCO SHIPPING Technology was invited to share its experience and practice on implementing digital scenarios. Relevant departments reported on the promotion of key projects and plans for future work. The leaders of the company adheres to problem orientation, and carried out open and in-depth discussion on a variety of topics such as the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, creating an upgraded version of the “four world-leading”, accelerating the improvement of the integrated logistic supply chain service capability and resource allocation capability, building a global digital supply chain service system and green low-carbon development.

The seminars emphasized that it is necessary to comprehensively, deeply, and accurately study and understand the report of the 20th CPC National Congress, Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on shipping industry and the enterprise, as well as the decisions of the theme seminars of the Group on studying and implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress. It is crucial to fully understand the advantages and disadvantages of the company in building a world-leading enterprise, global business layout, business model, digital supply chain service, and green low-carbon development, identify and fill the gaps, adhere to the unity of learning, thinking and application, and dare to shoulder responsibilities, innovate and make breakthroughs. We should make efforts to improve our ideological understanding, optimize our strategic objectives, make our corporate development more scientific, strengthen our party building, deepen our institutional innovation, make breakthroughs in key initiatives and innovate in methods and means. On the basis of the seven seminars held earlier to study and implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress, COSCO SHIPPING Energy further studied and implemented the decisions of the six seminars of the Group. It focused on key areas and key links, listened extensively to the opinions and suggestions of internal and external experts, and carried out in-depth and open discussions, laying a solid foundation for next year's work.
