On the morning of January 11, 2023, Ship Management Department, Guangzhou Center, and other units of safety management participated in the Annual Seminar on the "Four-in-one" Safety Management Model at the Weizhou terminal of CNOOC. The representatives conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with partners such as the Beihai Maritime Affairs Bureau, Guangzhou COSCO SHIPPING Agency Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Northsea Shipping Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, representatives from all parties summarized, reviewed, and exchanged views on the operation of the Weizhou "Four-in-one" Safety Management Model in in recent years. COSCO SHIPPING Energy expressed its gratitude to all parties for their continuous support and cooperation , then expressed that the company would further implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, provide services more actively to build a new development pattern, and guarantee national energy transportation safety with higher quality, thus reflecting the sense of mission and responsibility of a central enterprise. Meanwhile, the Company's safety management team exchanged and discussed with the experts on topics such as expert demonstration and evaluation of the safety standard for single-point berthing operation of 75,000-ton Panamax vessels, emergency drills for vessel terminal operation, and further empowering the Weizhou "Four-in-one" Safety Management Model.

The meeting pointed out that the Weizhou Model facilitated business development through party building and joint construction, promotes cooperation between all parties, and improves the regulation of relevant parties and the safety management of enterprises. All parties should further enhance cooperation, strengthen safety awareness, and ensure the safety of national energy production and transportation. It is necessary to strictly follow on-site operation standards, do a good job in the safety assessment on the feasibility of the berthing of Panamax vessels, and form unified standards and strengthen emergency drills to further improve the emergency response capacity. We should strengthen information sharing, carry out safety exchanges and discussions on a regular basis, and deepen the connotation of the Weizhou Model to deliver fruitful results in brand promotion.

During the seminar, all parties attended the theme class of following the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress on the theme of Strengthening Maritime Culture Construction to Promote High-quality Maritime Development.
