On August 31, the shipbuilding contract signing ceremony for COSCO SHIPPING Energy and China Petrochemical LNG transportation project was held in Dalian. Zhu Maijin, Managing Director, President, and Deputy Party Secretary of COSCO SHIPPING Energy, Xiao Weijie and Pang Aibin, Deputy General Managers of SINOPEC Kantons Holdings, and Yang Zhizhong, Chairman and Party Secretary of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry attended the ceremony. 

This is the first time for COSCO SHIPPING Energy, SINOPEC Kantons Holdings, and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry to join hands on a shipbuilding project. They have agreed to build three new 175,000 m3 LNG carriers in the Dalian Shipbuilding Industry, which helps achieve and deepen win-win cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the industry chain.
