On November 22, COSCO SHIPPING Energy signed a construction contract with Dalian Shipbuilding Industry and China Shipbuilding Trading for six 307,000-deadweight-ton (DWT) crude oil tankers.

These tankers boast advanced performance and optimized Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI). Built to meet both LNG READY and METHANOL READY standards, they represent a significant step forward in the company’s commitment to developing a green, low-carbon, and intelligent fleet in response to the international shipping industry’s accelerating carbon reduction goals.
