On December 12, the naming, delivery, and signing ceremony of E'MEI, the No.4 LNG carrier under the COSCO SHIPPING PetroChina International LNG Transportation Project, was held at the Changxing Island Wharf of Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding in Shanghai. Distinguished leaders and guests from various sectors, including representatives from PetroChina, COSCO SHIPPING Energy, and CSSC, attended the ceremony and witnessed the naming and delivery of the new vessel.

Mt. E'MEI is the No.4 carrier under the COSCO SHIPPING PetroChina International Project. It possesses an overall length of 295 meters, a beam width of 45 meters, a depth of 26.25 meters, a rated speed of 19.5 knots, and a remarkable LNG capacity of 174,000 cubic meters. COSCO SHIPPING Energy, in collaboration with Hudong Zhonghua, is actively advancing the enhancement of LNG shipbuilding technology and promoting green development. They are further refining the XDF dual-fuel propulsion LNG carrier, and incorporating advanced environmental protection systems. This vessel is designed to comply with the strictest emission standards set by the International Maritime Organization, whether it operates in gas mode or fuel oil mode.

Since the delivery of SHAOLIN, WUDANG and KUNLUN, COSCO SHIPPING Energy has successfully executed ship-to-shore coordination in over 70 ports worldwide. They have completed a total of 23 voyages, efficiently transporting a substantial 1.65 million tonnes of LNG. In doing so, it has played a crucial role in stabilizing and maintaining the natural gas supply chain, ensuring a steady winter supply of energy. As a pivotal component within the natural gas industry supply chain, the company has consistently adhered to a customer-centric development philosophy.
